Seaweed
Seaweeds such as Dulse, Irish Moss and Kelp are rich in minerals and trace elements and contain significant amounts of vitamins, including the B vitamins, vitamin A and vitamin C. Its protein content ranges from 10% to nearly 40%, and it contains all or most of the essential amino acids that humans need. Seaweed is low in fat and high in fiber. And then of course there is iodine. Seaweed is one of the highest natural sources of dietary iodine, even when eaten in small amounts.
