Kelp

I am kelp powder, made from dried seaweed that grows in the ocean. My flavour is salty and slightly savoury. A pure and powerful product from the sea.

Sugar kelp has similar qualities to normal kombu. The coating on sugar kobmu has a greater quantity of the sugary substance mannitol, which lends its distinctive sweetness.
