1000 ml bottle of Original Black Seed Oil from The Blessed Seed. 100% pure, cold-pressed, from the finest quality Nigella Sativa seeds. Typically, our Original oil contains 2-3% of the volatile oil. Most of the other oils on the market only contain a maximum of 1.2%! The majority of oils in the UK are as low as 0.3% volatile oil.

Typically, most blessed Seed Oils on the market contain somewhere between 0.3 and 1.2% of volatile oil. The Blessed Seed Oil, however, is far superior to other products on the market. Our oils contain between 0,5% and 7.5% depending on which strength you opt for:

• Normal/Mild black seed Oil typically contains 0,5-1,5% of volatile oil and 0,5-1% thymoquinone.
• Original black seed Oil typically contains 2-3% of volatile oil and 1-2% thymoquinone.
• Our Strong Black Seed Oil typically contains 3-5% of volatile oil and over 2% thymoquinone.
• Extra Strong Black Seed Oil contains 5-7.5% volatile oil and 3-4% thymoquinone.

Thymoquinone is the most researched component of the volatile oil because it is the main substance responsible for most of the benefits. The more volatile oil, the more thymoquinone we can expect.

Our oils are manufactured using a slow, cold-pressed method which helps preserve the volatile components found in the oil. Why? Because research has revealed that most of the potent & fruitful activity found in Black Cumin Seed Oil resides in its volatile oil. We also go one step further. We press our oils at the slowest speed possible. That means our oils are well under the required 40 degrees celcius to create a cold pressed oil.

At our manufacturing plant, the blessed seed oil is processed in the most hygienic conditions (certified by the German Government) and bottled as fast as possible after pressing. This again helps to preserve the volatile components in the oil.

Our oils are supplied in brown glass bottles – unlike some manufacturers, who use plastic bottles. Glass does not leach and dark glass helps to keep the temperature down and the light out. It is the best choice to protect and preserve the healing properties of the oil.
