The Adya Ceramic filter is an o.2 micron filter. The dimensions of bacteria between 0.5 and 1.0 micron are stopped by the ceramic filter before the water drips through the carbon filter. The ceramic filter fits into the top chamber of the Adya Water Filter.

The life of the ceramic filter is determined by the quality of the water, the amount of water that is filtered and the softness with which you treat the filter.
Filter life: approx. 1135 liters
Filter maintenance: It is important and necessary to regularly clean the ceramic filter with, for example, a soft washing-up brush or a sponge (the yellow part).
