He has been a part of the radio program "Gezondheidsnieuws" for over 12 years and was a regular guest on the TV program "Wat eten we." He studied Nutrition & Health at the Open University and Nutrition Science at Stanford. He critically examines and combines modern science with ancient knowledge, not adhering to any single nutritional belief but integrating multiple perspectives.
