Chlorella is a single-celled green freshwater algae and grows mainly in Southeast Asia in lakes and rivers. This true superfood is rich in chlorophyll, RNA/DNA and many other nutrients. It contains protein, vitamins, minerals, trace elements, dietary fiber and omega-3 fatty acids. Chorella also contains the unique Chlorella Growth Factor / CGF.
Optimal Broken Cell Wall Method
Chlorella is a unicellular microalgae. The nutrients are contained in the cell wall which is composed of cellulose. Ordinary chlorella without special treatment is difficult for the body to digest and use. In the traditional process, digestibility is only 40% to 50%.
Some chlorella makers use the Dyna Miller machine process to break through the cell wall. This process uses very fine glass spheres to grind the chlorella cell before drying which allows fine glass residues to remain in the chlorella powder. In addition, while the cells are ground into fine powder, all the cytoplasm flows out of the cell which can lead to oxidation. This process can improve digestibility but damages chlorella nutrients.
We have developed a process to work around the problem. Due to the special "low-pressure flash expansion" process, chlorella breaks cell walls in 3 seconds and the surfaces reveal numerous pores. It provides a digestibility of more than 80%, allowing the body to absorb all the naturally rich nutrients in chlorella.
