Original Superfoods Bee Pollen 400 Grams
Bee pollen are pollen grains collected by bees, sticking to their legs. In the hive, the bees release the pollen, combined with some enzymes and nectar, to serve as food. When entering the hive, they lose some of the pollen. This is collected, whereby the beekeeper ensures that there is enough left over for the bees themselves.
Since bee pollen has to provide a complete bee colony with sufficient nutrients, it is not surprising that they have an excellent nutritional value. The pollen is also called 'The fountain of youth'. They contain a huge amount of vitamin A, vitamin B complex, C, D and E, as well as many fatty acids and trace elements. Bee pollen contains a relatively large amount of vitamin B12, which makes it valuable for people who eat little or no meat.
