The Alkanatur Drops Pink Pitcher is a compact, easy-to-use water filter jug made in Spain from certified non-toxic plastic. The included filter uses Alkamicronized Selective® technology to reduce common impurities such as chlorine, fluoride, pesticides, nitrates, heavy metals, and trihalomethanes. The jug fits easily in most refrigerators, filters about 1 litre in a few minutes, and is fully tested under European quality standards.

Question:
How long can the filter stay dry (without water)? For example, if I go on vacation and don’t use the filter for several days, can I just use it again afterward?

Answer:
If you go on holidays, take your Alkanatur Drops pitcher and enjoy purified and alkaline water anywhere.

If you can’t take your pitcher with you and you’re going to be gone for more than 3 days, leave the filter in your fridge. You can leave it stored in a container, so that it does not catch the smell of the rest of the food.

If you are going to be away for 7 or more days, remove the Alkanatur Drops filter, let it drain for an hour, wrap it in plastic or a resealable bag and store it in the freezer. When you come back, let the filter thaw for a few hours and use it again for the rest of its life. We recommend, once the filter has been defrosted, to put it back in the jug, filter it and throw it away and start consuming the water after the second filtration.
